Most chimney information online is either a sales pitch or a decade out of date. This journal is neither. Every week we publish a short, sourced update on something that actually affects the way you heat your home: a change in EPA emissions rules, a product recall, a shift in the Virginia residential code, a safety notice from the Chimney Safety Institute of America, or a plain-English explanation of a problem we saw on a roof that week.
