2015: Premier Chimney and Roofing is founded in Virginia Beach with a simple goal: raise the standard for fireplace safety and workmanship.

2017–2019: We expand across Hampton Roads and formalize photo/video documentation on every job so homeowners see exactly what we see.

2020–2022: We standardize digital reports, online scheduling, VOIP call recording for training, and advanced field technology/tools to keep crews precise and on time.

2023–Present: We continue investing in training and new technology while keeping the same promise: clear diagnostics, honest scopes, and durable fixes.

Owner

Matthew founded Premier Chimney and Roofing in 2015 with one goal: to raise the standard for safety and quality in the chimney and roofing industry. With an Associate Degree in Information Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and a career dedicated to code compliance, inspection, and residential construction safety, he built the company around modern processes, advanced inspection technology, and strong customer relationships. Matthew is CSIA-Certified, NFI-Certified, and FIRE Certified, and he leads the team with a forward-thinking mindset—always pushing for innovation, efficiency, and integrity in every project.

Jonathan Swenson

Jonathan Swenson is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep who brings hands-on skill and attention to detail to every job.
